ABOUT JOHNNY
Johnny started his singing career as a teenage Doowop lead singer for an oldies New York City Group. He continued singing with oldies groups and bands while serving in the U.S. Navy. After discharge from the service Johnny performed with various groups on a fill in part time basis while raising a family. Johnny was always a fan of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett and decided to diversify his performance genre by including the standard ballads of those artists and artists like Dean Martin, Frankie Valli, Engelbert, Bobby Vinton, Elvis, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole to name a few. To accomplish the transition Johnny studied under then renown NY Vocal Coach CJ Giordano. He also studied music production and was awarded a certificate from Boston School of Music.. In the 1990's Johnny launched his full time solo career and migrated into the private party circuit performing his act "Songs of The Greats" in which he performs songs of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Engelbert, Elvis and More. He also used his skills and training as a group lead singer to continue also doing group doowop golden oldies songs of groups like The Beatles, Drifters, Platters, Skyliners, Belmonts, Crests, Duprees to name just a few using studio backing tracks while doing the live lead vocals himself.
2015 WAS A GREAT YEAR
In 2015 Johnny ( pictured above) was honored at Disney World for his service in the US Navy was awarded the Main Square Flag, a commendation certificate (see picture above)and a parade in which he and his grandkids led down Main St.
Johnny's business reached new highs with record performances. Also Johnny was awarded the "Rising Star Award" for overwhelming 5 Star customer event satisfaction by Gigmasters a highly regarded National Talent Group
Johnny is a NY Sinatra Wedding Singer, Johnny is a NY Sinatra Birthday Party Singer, Johnny performs at NY Anniversary parties, Johnny also entertains at NY Corporate Events like Retirement Parties and Holiday Parties. Johnny also performs Sinatra at NY Corporate Executive Retirement parties.
